The homes in Merida, Mexico, are made to withstand harsh weather such as high humidity, high temperatures, and hurricanes. Therefore, the construction is stone and concrete. The good news is your house may never blow away or burn down. The downside to concrete construction is that Wi-Fi signals do not penetrate the walls. Think of it as your own personal storm bunker.
