The Beauty Of Raising A Bicultural Child In Mexico

Updated: Oct 21, 2023

What is Good MexitPlanners. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there.

Being a Dad to 4 incredible humans is one of the things I’m the proudest of. We have 3 young adults, ages 25, 24, and 21, who are out in the world living incredible lives on their terms back in the States.

My philosophy on fatherhood has been shaped by My two amazing Dads and the incredible dads of my friends like Mr. Smith and Mr. Willis, All of whom I watched, listened to, and learned so much from when I was growing up. In fact, when I think about all my friends, whether it’s my oldest and closest friends of 30+ years, my golf brothers, My cousins, or my brothers in Christ, I can honestly say that each and every one of them is an incredible father. I’m talking about the kind of men that not only take responsibility for their kids but also show them by being a good example of how to be a good person.

When my wife and I decided to have one more child in our 40s, I’m sure people thought we were crazy. Not to mention that we told folks we are leaving the US to move to Mexico.

So today, I wanted to share with you our journey to raising an amazing kid in Mexico. Let’s get it.

Until Next Time,
